The Bay Area counties that saw the biggest year-over-year spike in sales price were Contra Costa, Napa, and Alameda — at 39%, 27% and 26% respectively — but nearly all the counties saw significant jumps. Across the Bay Area, the median home price reached a record $1.3 million in April.

So what exactly is out there for home shoppers at each of the counties’ median sales prices? Here’s a look at some recent listings — with homes statewide going into contract in a record-fast median seven days after entering the market.
