The 2014 Real Estate Deals of the Year Awards celebrate more than 50 projects and deals from around the Bay Area, including housing, offices, industrial space, historic rehabs, hospitals, infrastructure and more.

Today, we’re spotlighting our residential project finalists, which span market-rate and affordable housing. These projects include ambitious rehabs and ground-up highrise construction, condos and apartments. Some of these projects target seniors and others cater to young people.

They are sprinkled throughout the Bay Area from West Oakland to Redwood City and from San Francisco’s SoMa to the Mission District and Cow Hollow. Many were built despite significant hurdles, from neighborhood opposition to skeptical funders. All are contributing to the Bay Area’s housing supply at at time when we desperately need more of every type of housing.

If you’d like to celebrate these and other finalists at the Real Estate Deals of the Year Awards on March 26 at the Four Seasons, click here to register.
