Jodell was born and raised in Minnesota, but has lived in San Francisco — the place she calls home — since 1972. She graduated from San Francisco State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and minored in Business. Prior to joining McGuire, she spent two years with a firm in San Francisco, specializing in homeownership for entry-level buyers.
